Sage (Salvia officinalis) has so many healing effects; it’s fair to say that it is a universal

antiperspirant astringent and disinfectant effect. Administration against_effect on:
Antibacterial, antihaemorrhagic, anti- inflammatory, diuretic, anticonvulsant, tonifying,
lack of appetite, painful swollen breasts, inflammation and ulceration of the
oropharnyx, cystitis, common cold, whooping and smoker’s cough, asthma, bronchitis,
lung weakness, flatulence, digestive weakness stomach trouble, bad breath, gall
bladder and liver weakness, gout, rheumatism, cancer! depressions, neurasthenia,
nervousness, Alzheimer’s disease, strong sweating, foot sweat, night sweats, hot
lushes, menopause symptoms and menstrual discomfort leucorrhoea, pimples, acne,
pus-filled ulcers, eczemas, facial erysipelas and shingles, erysipel. Preparation: As tea,
boil uncovered for 3 minutes, put the lid on and let it steep for another 10 minutes. Also
used for douches and baths. Contraindication: Pregnancy, not for breast feeding
